The idea here is very simple. Your body needs to be rested in order to have the best performance because if it’s not, you will have a very hard time fighting against diseases. And the more powerful the disease is, the harder it will be for you to get the best outcome. And since the long term lack of sleep will lead to diabetes, blood vessel disease and heart problems, it’s in your best interest to avoid that.

 

These conditions can easily affect your immune system in the long term, lowering its power and making you less powerful against them. But on the other hand if you sleep more than 10 hours you will also have issues. Sure, there won’t be immune system issues but the sleep quality will be a lot worse than expected and you will have a hard time trying to fall asleep.
